THIS WEEKS LESSON FROM DFWBEATS LIFE COACH TYAMICIA WRIGHT: APOLOGIES

Apologies

People view apologies as expressions of regret or admissions of fault. Apologizing to another human being is much more than that. To apologize isn’t always accepting responsibility for what has occurred. It also acknowledges and respects the viewpoint of the other party involved. Saying you’re sorry releases control of wanting to be right. It tells that person that you respect what they feel even if you don’t agree. Holding grudges won’t change what has happened in the past. Instead, it finds a place inside your spirit causing your heart to harden. So think before you make the decision not to apologize. Who does your decision affect the most? You or them?
