The tape is hosted by Chucky Thompson, who “co-produced” 12 of the 17 tracks with Puff on My Life. He narrates the tape with nuggets on the use of samples for the album, talking music with Mary, the “Be Happy” video, and of course why men love Mary.

DFWBEATS PRESENTS: D.I.T.C. RARE STACKS 1&2

D.I.T.C. is a name synonymous with the culture of faithful record collecting and searching for that perfect beat. With over two decades of experience and a work ethic bordering on obsessive, Show presents the fruits of his endless days and nights digging through dusty record basements and thrift store dollar bins all culminating in this classic beat tape. A slight variation on the typical producer album, Show digs deep into his personal arsenal to unearth true gems and adds just the right amount of production to keep the mix moving and to highlight the best parts of each record. Thirty banging beats in all, this ain't no lazy DJ filler mix of tracks that every jock is playing. This is pure heat and Show comes correct as he has definitely sifted through his personal milkcrates. About Before I Self Destruct The Movie: WATCH TRAILER

Inspired by 50 Cent’s latest album, BEFORE I SELF DESTRUCT is a gritty 90-minute film, written, directed and starring Curtis Jackson (aka 50 Cent). The film is a coming of age story about an inner city youth raised by a hardworking single mother. When his dream of becoming a basketball player fails to materialize after his mother is tragically gunned down, Clarence is consumed by revenge and takes up a life of crime in order to support his younger brother.

About 2 Turn Tables and a Microphone: WATCH TRAILER

“Two Turntables And A Microphone: The Life And Death Of Jam Master Jay,” is a documentary about 50 Cent’s late mentor and friend Jason William Mizell. Hip-hop pioneer Jam Master Jay of Run-DMC gave 50 Cent his first big break in music by signing him to JMJ Records in the late 1990s. 50 Cent executive produced the documentary and appears in the 85-minute film, along with Rev Run, Russell Simmons, Jay-Z, and others.
